The serenity is shattered when a local exotic animal collector, inadvertently releases one of his most treasured exotics into the area. A local sheriff, Meredith Hendricks, makes it her mission to capture the &quot;animal&quot; and bring the exotic animal collector to justice. A course of unlikely events shifts the focus to the relationship between a mother and her son and a father and his daughter. reading the name of the main actor on the cover was enough for me… (and his face from the side dominating the front cover)<br/><br/>the name Lundgren has become kind of a crap-movie certificate and guarantee for movies that are not worth watching. i wonder if he is aware of it. This movie made me really wonder what people think before they start such a project and i guess it goes something like this: <br/><br/>&quot;hey! we want to produce a striking movie but we have neither the talent, great idea for the story or any money for a decent cast. So lets take a well known yesterdays tough guy actor and let him fight some computer animated monsters so we do not need to pay for anyone playing his opponenta bad guy. just some cheap effects will do. That is all we can afford. maybe some idiots out there will buy it if we use the shark idea again.&quot;<br/><br/>for this &quot;masterpiece&quot; they taking cheap to another level by using computer animated sharks and let them swim in a fresh-water lake to keep the costs down even more. actually there are some good shark documentaries out there nowadays(with real sharks in the ocean) that show that these beautiful animals are worth saving and play a very important role in our eco-system and that they are not the aggressive killers ignorant people see them as. people with a little bit of sense are far better of watching one of those than this pile of rubbish. Man I can not believe in 2015 those CGIs are still allowed to appear on screen. I do understand that sometimes you&#39;re on a tight budget, but come one, if you going to make a movie about a shark, well…these guys right here couldn&#39;t even make a decent flipper. I mean seriously, even that is pc made, which makes this movie, quite a joke.<br/><br/>There is a plot to it, there is an well known actor but not the star of the movie, and a quarter of execution here,wellall the boredom you can imagine. It wanted to be a shark movie, and it failed by all means possible, and the shark… it was bad.<br/><br/>I mean, I&#39;m going to recommend you Shark Night 3d, or Bait, both cheesy movies that are so bad they&#39;re fun, and of course, little baby Jaws compared to Shark Lake.<br/><br/>Cheers!
